Event Description:

Founded in memory of Rhett Seevers who couldn’t walk or run, we teach the Youth Fitness Program participants to be Rhett’s arms and legs and to RUN BECAUSE YOU CAN! This race of over 4,000 adult and youth participants starts and ends on the Hughes Stadium field on Sacramento City College Campus. The day is all about MOVING INTO LIFE, and after the race, families stick around to enjoy the bounce houses, face painting, and good food!

Marketing Reach:

Through many different marketing channels we are able to reach over 20,000 people with total impressions that far exceed 170,000. Marketing reach for Run Because You Can includes but is not limited to website, social media, electronic marketing, print collateral and onsite exposure. Sponsors also have the opportunity for onsite guest engagement. Average age of youth participants is between 5 and 12.

Silver Sponsor – $2,500

Parking Sponsor (Limit of 4 sponsors)
Parking attendant will handout collateral piece to each parking customer at the official RBYC parking lot or garage. Sponsor can provide promotional incentive that will be included on the event parking collateral piece.

Photo Booth Sponsor (2 sponsors required for this package)
Drive likes to your Facebook and Twitter accounts when participants share their free event photo. Guests can take their photo and immediately post it to their Facebook and/or Twitter accounts. Receive HUGE exposure! Plus, receive an email list of prospective new customers who posted their photo to Facebook.

Registration Sponsor
Sponsor logo will be included on all event registration confirmation emails. Sponsor banner will be displayed in the Registration area during packet pickup prior to the event and on the day of the event. Banner (with grommets) provided by sponsor.

Bronze Sponsor – $1,000

Kids Activities Sponsor
Banner will be displayed at the Kids Activity Area. Banner (with grommets) provided by sponsor. Sponsor can provide staff with company logo apparel to assist in the Activity Area. Sponsor provides fun item for the kids (example: balloon with company logo, ice cream coupon, pedometer, etc.)

Water Sponsor
Sponsor banner will be displayed at the Water table. Banner (with grommets) provided by sponsor. Sponsor provides water bottles. Company logo can be on water bottle if sponsor chooses to print and apply labels. Participants will receive water at the end of their race.

Online Registration Sponsor (Limit of 2 sponsors)
Receive high exposure with logo on all online email ticket registrations and email confirmations.

Event Sponsor – $500

Virtual Goody Bag Sponsor
Sponsor can provide a promotional incentive that will be distributed electronically to all event participants post event.  Great way to thank participants and remind them of who you are.

Volunteer Area Sponsor (limit of 2)
Sponsor banner will be displayed at the Volunteer tent. Banner (with grommets) provided by sponsor. Sponsor can provide volunteers. Sponsor can provide volunteers trinket if desired.

Vendor Area Sponsor – (Limit of 1)
Sponsor banner will be displayed at the entrance to the Vendor Area. Banner (with grommets) provided by sponsor.

On Course Water Station Sponsor (Limit of 1)
Sponsor will be provided a spot along the course to provide water to volunteers and runners as they pass by. Sponsor will bring 8 volunteers (may have them wear sponsor apparel) and banner will be displayed at your station. May have additional gear like a popup tent. Must get Race Director approval of final layout.

Mile Sponsor (Limit of 1)
Sponsor logo on 1 of the 3 mile marker signs. Signage provided by event. Miles will be assigned on a first come, first served basis.

Donor Sponsor – $250

Banner Sponsor
Company banner display within the venue at one of the following locations – start or finish chutes, inside or outside of venue. Sponsor provides banner (with grommets) – maximum size 3’ high, 12’ wide.

Bike Valet Sponsor (limit of 2)
Company banner will be displayed at the designated bike parking area.

Food Vendor
Provide self-contained food service required. Food vendors must confirm by April 1, 2018.

Vendor Booth – $75 New Vendors | $40 for Returning Vendors | No Charge for Charitable Non-Profits*

Limit of 35 vendor booths. Spots fill quickly. Reserved on a first come first serve basis.
Limit of 10 Charitable non-profit booths.

*For an additional $50 your company offer can be included in our Virtual Goody Bag.


Sponsor Fulfillment Items and deadlines

Refer to your specific sponsor package and send fulfillment based on benefits outlined in your package.

  • All logos must be provided in either .ai or .png format. Deadline for logos is Friday, March 22, 2018.
  • Sponsor website link must be received by February 22, 2018
  • All banners must be mailed or delivered to: Runnin’ for Rhett / 5117 Worcester Way, Elk Grove, CA 95758 no later than Sunday, April 15, 2018
  • Maximum size banner permitted 3’ tall by 12’ wide grommets required
  • Virtual Goody Bag promotional offer must be received no later than Sunday, April 15, 2018
  • Vendor booth needs such as electricity area available for a fee of $100
